Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembele has been in excellent form of late.

Former Marseille manager Eric Gerets has told French outlet Le Phoceen that the Ligue 1 side should look to sign Tottenham midfielder Mousa Dembele in the summer.
Gerets, 63, managed Marseille for two years between 2007 and 2009 but has a wide-ranging knowledge of Belgian football after winning 86 caps for his national side and managing Standard Liege, Lierse and Club Brugge.
The manager, who has been out of work since being sacked by Qatari Stars League side Al Jazira, was asked if Marseille owner Frank McCourt should consider any Belgian players to sign in the summer.

Gerets responded by ambitiously claiming Marseille should consider Napoli’s Dries Mertens as well as Spurs powerhouse Dembele, who has starred of late with excellent displays against Arsenal, Man United and Juventus.
“I would say Dries Mertens, the Napoli forward, who has great potential, I also love Moussa Dembele, the attacking midfielder of Tottenham, who is in great shape and would be a big help to OM,” Gerets said.

Dembele’s long-term future at Spurs is in doubt despite his recent form, with less than 18 months remaining on a contract reportedly worth £80,000 a week. He has been a mainstay in Spurs’ side this term, making 30 appearances in all competitions.
But Pochettino is expected to keep his faith with the former Fulham midfielder as Spurs go up against Huddersfield at Wembley on Saturday before Juventus come to town for the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie.
