Liverpool could be in the market for another striker this summer despite Diogo Jota making a huge impact at Anfield this term.
Divock Origi is expected to move on, and an interesting rumour emerged from 90Min last month as Michael Edwards considers a new striking addition.
They claim that Liverpool have asked Sevilla to be kept informed on striker Youssef En-Nesyri, with West Ham United and Manchester United also keen.
En-Nesyri only joined Sevilla from Leganes in January 2020, but has become one of the most wanted strikers in Europe after a superb season.
The Moroccan ace has hit 20 goals in 40 games so far this season, and could make a huge move away from Sevilla this summer.
Sevilla teammate Diego Carlos – who snubbed a move to Liverpool last season according to El Desmarque – has now spoken to Goal about En-Nesyri’s quality.

Carlos feels that En-Nesyri is already a ‘very good striker’, but feels that he is getting better every day – something that Liverpool have to be interested in.
“En-Nesyri is a very good striker and he really stands out. He is scoring a lot of goals and he is very strong,” said Carlos. “Also, he is making the most of himself and I think gradually, he is getting better each day,” he added.
En-Nesyri won’t come cheap, but strikers don’t tend to – and if Liverpool want to add support for Jota and Roberto Firmino, En-Nesyri could make sense as an ideal addition.
