Leeds United snapped up Madger Gomes after his contract at Liverpool expired.
Former Liverpool coach Michael Beale has put out some encouraging opinions on new Leeds United youngster Madger Gomes on social media website Twitter.
Leeds acted quickly to snap up Gomes, after his contract at Liverpool expired.
And Beale, who was Gomes’ former coach at Anfield, believes that the youngster can be a success at Elland Road.
Very little is known of Gomes, as he never made a senior appearance for Liverpool during his time on Merseyside.
Gomes is expected to go into Leeds’ development side for the year ahead, rather than into Thomas Christiansen’s first-team.
Gomes is Leeds’ third signing of the summer transfer window to date, with Christiansen’s men already looking active.
Leeds have also brought in Hadi Sacko and Mateusz Klich, as the squad at Elland Road for the season ahead begins to take shape.
The Whites finished in seventh place last term, and there are hopes that they could break into the play offs this time around.
Leeds’ first match of the new campaign comes against Bolton Wanderers at the start of August.
