Leeds will not be bringing back Alfonso Pedraza.
Earlier this summer Leeds United completed a deal to re-sign winger Hadi Sacko from Sporting Lisbon.
He was not the only one they wanted, with Spanish publication AS reporting that they made another approach to Villarreal to bring back Alfonso Pedraza on a season long loan.
This was rejected by Villarreal, but Pedraza is now on the move, with AS now reporting he is set to seal a loan transfer to Alaves.

The move is expected to be completed imminently, with Pedraza hoping to join up with Alaves in time for the beginning of their pre-season.
Leeds had an option to sign Pedraza at £8.5 million as part of their initial agreement but this was only to be activated if they clinched promotion, and it was an excessive figure.
Pedraza is a highly rated Spain under-19 international but his spell at Elland Road under Garry Monk was mixed.
He played 14 games for Leeds, scoring once, in a win over Birmingham City.

AS’ report erlier this summer claimed Villarreal did not regard another loan to the Championship as good for Pedraza’s development, preferring him to remain in Spain instead.
Leeds have had their sights on signing Macedonian winger Ezjgan Alioski over the past fortnight but they are yet to get that deal over the line.
