Marcus Antonsson has landed on his feet since leaving Leeds United.

You could probably forgive Leeds United fans if they had forgotten all about Marcus Antonsson’s existence.
The Swedish marksman left Leeds last summer after being deemed surplus to requirements. Despite being on the Whites’ books for two years, there is a feeling that nobody ever saw the best of him.
Antonsson was stuck behind a red-hot Chris Wood during the 2016-17 campaign under Garry Monk, who only gave him 577 minutes of Championship football all season – the equivalent of around six full matches.
The 27-year-old has been nothing short of exceptional since joining Malmo and by February, he could potentially prompt debate over whether he deserved a shot under Marcelo Bielsa.
Antonsson, who has 10 goals in 14 starts for the Swedish side, will come up against Chelsea in the Europa League next year and it wouldn’t be a good look for Leeds if he maintains his talismanic form by scoring against the Premier League giants.
It must be said that it wouldn’t mean Bielsa was wrong to let him go regardless of what he does against Maurizio Sarri’s side, but scoring a couple of goals over both legs might make you wonder whether he would have been of more value than, say, Tyler Roberts for instance.
The Whites, who sit top of the Championship with Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe as their strikers, are doing fine without Antonsson.
But that isn’t to say that he would not have been of value to the West Yorkshire side this season and impressing against Chelsea might prove that.
