Leeds United saw striker Sam Dalby leave for Watford over the summer.

Leeds United have one talented young striker emerging in Ryan Edmondson, but they also lost one over the summer.
The Whites will hope Edmondson can step up to first-team action in the near future, especially having already scored for the England Under-19’s.
His path is a little blocked by Eddie Nketiah right now, but he has potential – and may cushion the blow of losing Sam Dalby over the summer.
Dalby, 19, joined Leeds from Leyton Orient in January 2018, having shown some promise in non-league football, and headed off on loan to Morecambe a year later.
In July, Dalby was sold to Premier League side Watford, making a jump up to the Premier League side for an undisclosed fee, with Leeds selling inside the final year of his deal at Elland Road.
Dalby was only signed for Watford’s development squad, but he’s impressing this season, to the point where even the Hornets themselves are celebrating his exploits.
Watford posted a video of Dalby scoring earlier this week, and pointed out that he now has six goals this season and four in his last three games.
Fans are already wondering whether he should be given a chance in the Premier League, with Dalby’s decision to move away seemingly paying dividends so far – and Leeds fans will hope Edmondson doesn’t want to do the same, given that he has around 18 months left on his deal.
