Evans quit Leeds United at the end of last month, but it took until today for Sheffield United to confirm his arrival.
Paul Evans as a player with Brentford
Sheffield United have hired Paul Evans as their new sports therapist, barely a week after the former midfielder left his role at Leeds United.
Evans spent six years at Leeds, where he was employed as a masseur.
But that spell came to an end last month, with the Whites announcing that he had ‘decid(ed) to pursue a new career opportunity’.
The Leeds captain, Liam Cooper told the Championship club’s official website: “Not only has Evo been incredibly professional and helped us all over the years, but he’s also been a good friend to all of the players and staff at the club – whilst we will miss him, we respect his decision and wish him all the best for the future.”

Evans was released by Chris Wilder shortly after the Sheffield United manager was hired by Oxford United more than a decade ago.
But if the pair did have any differences, these appear to have been put to bed now.
Another former member of Leeds’ backroom team, Nathan Winder, has also had his Sheffield United move confirmed.
Nathan Winder at Ipswich last year
Winder, who arrives as the Blades’ lead strength and development coach, spent five months at Elland Road during Paul Heckingbottom’s reign, although he was most recently employed by Ipswich Town.
