Former Leeds United striker Lee Erwin has reportedly left his most recent club due to homesickness.

Ask a Leeds United fan about Lee Erwin and you probably won’t get a lengthy response.
The 24-year-old had a pretty unmemorable time on Leeds’ books from 2015 until 2017, scoring zero goals from 11 Championship games.
Former Whites boss Thomas Christiansen deemed him surplus to requirements 18 months ago, before Erwin, brought to Elland Road by Uwe Rosler, returned to Scotland to sign for Kilmarnock.
But a rather disappointing spell at Rugby Park led to the Scot joining Persian Gulf Pro League Tractor Sazi in August, but he has reportedly quit the Iranian side.
According to The Scottish Sun, Lanarkshire-born Erwin has left Sazi after ‘feelings of homesickness’ interfered with his football.
He scored four goals in six league outings for Tractor, including a hat-trick in the 4-1 victory Zob Ahan on November 11, which transpired to be his final game for the club [Soccerway].
Leeds have gone on to much bigger and better things since the days of Rosler and Erwin, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side sitting second in the Championship and favourites to win promotion to the Premier League after a 15-year absence.
