Christian Eriksen made a big impression in Tottenham’s first game with Juventus.

Former Juventus defender Moreno Torricelli has praised Tottenham’s attacking threat especially midfielder Christian Eriksen.

The ex-Italy international told Tuttomercatoweb he was impressed by Tottenham’s performance in the first leg and was stunned they fought back from conceding two goals in the first 10 minutes.

He said: “Usually when Juve go 2-0, it is very easy to close and keep the opponent away, without suffering much. There were mistakes on both goals conceded and at these levels when you are wrong, you pay .. Tomorrow the Bianconeri will have to be perfect especially on the defensive level.”

A tough test lies ahead for the Italians after conceding two away goals, and he is wary of Tottenham’s attack, but hopeful they will be able to take advantage of their defence.
