Derek McInnes has suggested that Rangers winger Ryan Kent should not leave for Leeds United, as quoted in The Daily Record.
Leeds are interested in signing Kent from Rangers in the summer transfer window, according to The Scottish Sun.
The report has claimed that Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa is keen on securing the services of the former Liverpool winger.
The Premier League club wanted the 24-year-old winger last summer and bid £11 million, and now they may have to make an offer of £15 million, according to the report.
Former Rangers and Scotland international midfielder McInnes has suggested that Kent should stay at Ibrox and not make a move to Leeds.
The Daily Record has quoted McInnes as saying about Kent: “I think it was important that Rangers managed to hold on to him (Ryan Kent) and Morelos, and both players have answered (Gerrard).
“I think it would be naive to think that there wouldn’t be more interest. I think Leeds seem pretty persistent and he is a player that they like, but Rangers have also been equally as persistent that they want to keep him here.
“I think by all means the boy is enjoying it here (in Scotland) and when you come to a club like Rangers it is important that you experience Champions League football and win trophies.
“He has been a big part in winning the trophy this season, but hanging about a big club like Rangers only does your career good anyway.”

Rangers stay or Leeds United transfer?
Rangers are a massive club and could play in the Champions League next season, having won the Scottish Premiership title this campaign.
The chance to play in Europe’s premier club competition is certainly very appealing.
However, Leeds are a big club and have done very well in the Premier League this season, and the chance to play at Elland Road and in the most widely watched domestic league in the world is very attractive indeed.
According to WhoScored, Kent has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 33 Scottish Premiership games, and has scored two goals and provided two assists in 10 Europa League matches this season.
