However, the former Celtic and Portugal international striker believes that Edouard should stay at the Hoops next season and help the Glasgow giants win the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th season in a row.
The Express reported in May 2020 that Arsenal and Newcastle are interested in signing the 22-year-old striker from Celtic in the summer transfer window.
Cadete told The Scottish Sun: “I know that clubs are interested in Edouard and he will have a lot of options this summer.
“But staying at Celtic is the right thing for him. Next season is a chance to make history. He is at a great club, with passionate supporters and he could be part of something really special.
“Everyone who has ever played with Celtic knows about ten in a row and what it means. In my time, we were trying to stop Rangers doing it.
“Now Celtic are one more title away from it and I expect Edouard will want to be part of that. He will go to a bigger league one day but there is no rush. At 22, he’s still so young.
“There are so many years ahead of him. If he stays at Celtic longer even more clubs will want him.”

Edouard is arguably the best striker in the Scottish Premiership, and him staying at Celtic will certainly enhance Neil Lennon’s side’s chances of winning the title next season.
With the Hoops aiming to make it 10 league titles in a row in 2020-21, the striker will find it very appealing to be part of a history-making team.
While Celtic could get a lot of money if they sell the striker this summer, they will not find it easy to find a direct replacement, and even if they do, then he could take a while to get used to playing for the Hoops.
