Michael Chopra has made it clear on Twitter that he does not want Steve Bruce to be in charge of Newcastle United next season.
The former Newcastle forward has also stated that he wants club owner Mike Ashley to leave.
Chopra made the comments on Twitter following the Magpies’ defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League at the weekend.
Newcastle went down 3-1 to the Reds at St. James’ Park in their final league game of the season.
The result means that the team have finished the campaign in 13th place in the league table with 44 points from 38 matches.
Chopra is not impressed with Bruce, and wants him as well as club owner Ashley out of Newcastle.
Steve Bruce stay or leave?
Bruce has done a good job at Newcastle since replacing Rafael Benitez in the summer of 2019.
True, the football could have been better and there were times when results were very disappointing, but overall he has done a decent job.
Perhaps Bruce should be given another chance, and maybe the club should see what he can do in his second season in charge of the Magpies.
