Real Sociedad forward Mohamed-Ali Cho who left Everton in 2020 has compared himself to the likes of PSG’s Kylian Mbappe, Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele.

The Athletic had previously reported that the Frenchman was ‘disillusioned’ with life at Goodison Park and sought a £9.6 million-worth exit, as per Fabrizio Romano for that very reason.

Now, the former Everton talent Mohamed-Ali Cho has likened himself to Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Rashford and Ousmane Dembele.

The 19-year-old made headlines after breaking into GOAL’s NXGN list, alongside Gavi, Endrick and Alejandro Garnacho as one of the 50 best young footballers in the world.

Speaking in an interview with the website’s YouTube Channel, former Everton wonderkid Mohamed-Ali Cho addressed the parallels to Mbappe, Rashford and Dembele.

“I’d say I compare myself to Ousmane Dembele of Barcelona and [Kylian] Mbappe, [Marcus] Rashford. Those three players. Trying to get better, trying to get to that level. I see myself in them sometimes and some players, so just trying to get better and do the stuff that they do as well.”

That is one hell of a statement.

Could Everton regret not keeping the French sensation?

Well, the answer is, you never know.

Considering Mohamed-Ali Cho considers himself as a player comparable to the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Marcus Rashford and Ousmane Dembele, it would be easy to say that Everton would perhaps regret selling him.

Simultaneously, the youngster is yet to take La Liga by storm since his switch to Spain and this season, lengthy hamstring and ankle injuries have stopped him in his tracks to prove his former employers wrong.

Ultimately, only time will tell whether the Toffees let a generational talent leave or were perhaps smart not to do anything to keep him.
