Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman believes Liverpool could win the Premier League this season.
Former Everton midfielder Leon Osman has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 10th November, that Liverpool could be title challengers this season.
Osman, who is an Everton fan, has had to watch on as Liverpool have risen to the top of the Premier League tale.
And the former England international midfielder admits that Jurgen Klopp’s side are likely to be challenging for their first ever Premier League title in May.
“I hope not, but they’re showing all the signs,” Osman, who was released by Everton last summer, said. “They’re certainly going to be up there.”
Liverpool have been in wonderful form over the season so far, with their attacking play catching the eye.
The Reds have scored 30 goals in their first 11 league matches of the season.
Liverpool have been able to blow away the likes of Watford and Hull City, while they have also picked up impressive victories in matches against Arsenal and Chelsea.
The Reds are unbeaten in 12 matches in all competitions, and have a massive amount of momentum behind them.
Liverpool are next in action in two weekends’ time, when they take on Southampton at St. Mary’s.
