Everton tied up two deals on Thursday, with Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford joining the club just hours before Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen completed his move to Goodison Park.
Those two deals saw Everton splash out what could end up being £54million (The Guardian), and the Toffees aren’t done with their summer spending just yet.

Ronald Koeman is looking to prepare for Everton’s return to the Europa League, and with question marks over Romelu Lukaku’s future at Goodison Park, attacking reinforcements will be needed.
On Thursday, Calcio Mercato reported that, after meetings in Italy, Everton agreed a fee of €18million (£15.7million) for AC Milan attacker M’Baye Niang, though he has allegedly asked for time to think about the move.

Niang, 22, was once touted as one of the top talents in Europe during his time Caen, and he even went on trial with Everton before joining AC Milan in 2012, where he has scored just 12 goals in 77 games.
The Frenchman spent the second half of last season on loan at Watford, where he notched two goals and two assists before heading back to Italy – but that return could be short-lived given that a Premier League offer is allegedly on the table.
Don Hutchison at West Ham
Capable of playing out wide or up front, Niang can be a versatile attacking option for Koeman, and former Everton midfielder Don Hutchison has offered his view on the move on Twitter.
Hutchison has suggested that Niang is a very good player, possessing power and pace that could be so vital for the Toffees – and fans will be hoping that Niang lives up to Hutchison’s praise if he joins the club this summer.
