Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara is enjoying a fine season – and it may only get better for him in 2021.

Kamara has starred in Steven Gerrard’s midfield, and would be a real contender for Rangers’ Player of the Year award if it was decided now.

He ran the game against Celtic last month, he has starred in Europe, and seems to be getting better and better every week after a mixed start to 2020.

Kamara has now played a key role in Finland’s shock qualification for the European Championships next summer, and he is unsurprisingly attracting admiring glances.

90Min reported back in August that Everton, Newcastle United and Southampton were among the interested parties, alongside Marseille, Dynamo Kiev and Dinamo Moscow.

TEAMtalk add that Leeds United, Monaco, Lille and Borussia Dortmund are also interested in Kamara, with the list of clubs pursuing him seemingly growing and growing.

Now, Jimmy Boyle – who was head of youth development at Dundee when they signed the former Arsenal talent – has admitted to The Glasgow Times that he has heard teams want to sign Kamara.

Boyle feels that international football has really helpd Kamara, and believes that his schooling at Arsenal means he suits European football perfectly – but has the ability to go even further in his career amid that Premier League interest.

“I think playing for his country has been important in Glen’s development,” said Boyle. “Every time he goes away on international duty with Finland he does really well. He is getting noticed in Europe as well now. I have heard teams are looking at him.”

“He suits the European game. With the schooling he has had at Arsenal, his style of play is ideal for continental football. He has done really well in the Europa League games for Rangers. He has done great getting to where he is now. But he has got the ability to go further,” he added.
