Former Chelsea youth star Lamisha Musonda has shared a deeply emotional message, revealing that his health has deteriorated to a critical level.

The 33-year-old, who came through the Blues’ academy alongside his brothers Charly and Tika, opened up about his battle in a heartbreaking social media post that has left fans and the football community devastated.

Once regarded as one of the most promising young players of his generation, Musonda’s career was cut short by persistent injuries and health struggles.

Lamisha Musonda reveals he only has a ‘few days left’

In a message posted to his social media, Musonda wrote, “As I realise I only have a few days left, I also realise I had a lot of people by my side and I’ll always cherish the memories. Life is hard, but the view is great.”

He continued, “These last two years have been particularly difficult and challenging for me. It is with great sadness that I announce that I am struggling to get my health back.

“This is the reason why I have been absent from social media.”

The post immediately drew messages of support from former teammates, fans, and clubs across Europe. Many described Musonda’s words as a testament to strength, dignity, and resilience in the face of unimaginable hardship.

His message also served as a reminder of the human stories that exist beyond the professional game.

Musonda’s message continued, “I have to face facts – my health is critical, and I’m now fighting to survive. Your aid and prayers will be a great help during this time.

“My family and I are fighting, and I won’t quit until my last breath. I was fortunate enough to have a beautiful early life, and I still have so much to offer.”

He added, “But there are so many wonderful people who I would have loved to thank in person – and the fact I maybe won’t get the chance saddens me deeply.”
