Celtic sold the Frenchman for under half his current value last summer.

Were Celtic short changed by Lyon in the Moussa Dembele deal? If a report from L’Equipe is accurate then yes, potentially.
The Hoops sold Dembele to Lyon for £19.7 million last August [Sky Sports] after the French hitman fell out with then-manager Brendan Rodgers.
It seemed a decent price at the time because although he is one of Europe’s most talented young strikers, he wanted to leave Celtic.
But fast forward nine months and the 22-year-old is now worth a lot more than what Scottish giants received.
French outlet L’Equipe have claimed that he is now worth a cool £43 million, amid speculation from Manchester United.
Celtic were never in a million years going to get those types of figures, but it’s still a £23 million difference to what they actually got and maybe they didn’t get the maximum amount for him after all.
He hasn’t had a particularly explosive season in France, netting less than 20 goals, but there’s still bags of potential there and it’ll be fascinating to see if his price skyrockets in the coming years – especially if he moves to Old Trafford and kills it in England.
