Gary Dicker has suggested on Twitter that Arsenal could do with a player like Neal Maupay.
The former Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder made the suggestion following Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat to the Seagulls away from home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The 23-year-old, who can operate as a forward or as an attacking midfielder, scored late in injury time to guide the home team to all three points.
The Frenchman – who cost Brighton £16 million in transfer fees in the summer of 2019, as reported by BBC Sport – was also involved in the incident in the first half which saw Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno suffer a serious knee injury and get carried off on a stretcher, as reported on BBC Sport.
Dicker believes that Arsenal could do with a few players like Maupay, and the 33-year-old Kilmarnock midfielder has also said that the injury to Leno following the challenge from the Frenchman can happen in any game.

According to WhoScored, Maupay has made 24 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Brighton so far this season, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in the process.
