Sanchez Watt has mocked Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Twitter.

Spurs beat Chelsea in the League Cup last night but there was a humourous incident during the game, as Eric Dier sporadically left the field of play and darted down the tunnel.

The Tottenham defender was pursued by a furious Jose Mourinho, who joked after the game that nature called for the England international.

Quite a lot of Lilywhites fans saw the funny side after the clash too, and Watt, who began his career at Arsenal before leaving in 2013, has stuck the boot by referencing Spurs’ trophy drought.

The 29-year-old was talking about Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang accidentally dropping the FA Cup after Mikel Arteta’s side beat Chelsea in the final last month.

Tottenham haven’t won a trophy since lifting the League Cup in 2008 but there is big pressure on them to put things right this season.

With Mourinho in tow, and Gareth Bale back at the club, they really need to deliver some silverware.
