Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong hopes to see Championship outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers return to the Premier League soon.
Emmanuel Frimpong spent a very short time at Wolverhampton Wanderers, but he seems to have fond memories of the Championship club.
The 22-year-old Ghana international midfielder joined Wolves on loan from Arsenal in January 2012 and made just five appearances for them before a knee injury forced him to return to the Emirates Stadium.
However, Frimpong, who is now playing for Russian club FC Ufa, seems to have enjoyed his short period at Molineux and hopes that Wolves return to the Premier League soon.
Wolves suffered relegation from the Premier League at the end of the 2011-12 season and went down to League One the following campaign.
However, Kenny Jackett’s side are on their way up. Having gained promotion back to the Championship at the end of last season, Wolves are currently ninth in the league table with 27 points from 17 matches, just a point behind sixth-placed Brentford.
