Kieran Gibbs came through the ranks at Arsenal and he is now representing West Bromwich Albion in the Championship.

After starting his career at Arsenal, Kieran Gibbs was touted for big things during his early years, both on a club level and on the international stage for England.
While he may have represented his boyhood club for a number of years and earned 10 England caps, many would agree that the 29-year-old didn’t fulfil what was expected of him at the Emirates.
During the summer of 2017, Gibbs decided to leave Arsenal and move to the Midlands and join West Brom, who would go onto suffer relegation nine months later.
Now, the left-back is plying his trade in the second-tier of English football and is on the road to reviving his career on the right path.
The former Arsenal fan favourite has been a regular for Darren Moore this season, with West Brom sitting third in the Championship table, four points off leaders Leeds United.
Over the course of the season, he has played 25 league games, scored three goals and supplied four assists for his teammates – impressive stats for a defensive-minded player.

Prior to his early return to his parent club, Gibbs built a strong partnership with Leicester City man Harvey Barnes on Albion’s left flank.
Both showcased great ability to use their pace and directness to counter-attack opposition teams at will as Moore’s side are currently the top scorers in the division.
There is no doubt that Gibbs is proving to be one of, if not the best left-back in the Championship and if he continues his ways then a return to the Premier League will be on the cards.
