Arturo Vidal has sent a good luck message to Everton stars James Rodriguez and Yerry Mina on Instagram, following Chile’s 2-2 draw against Colombia on Wednesday evening.

The ex-Juventus star – who scored a penalty in the draw – wrote: ‘It is always nice to see you brothers again!!! ❤️ very good game, good luck and blessings always my partners!!!’

Vidal is a trophy-magnet of a footballer, having won an unbelievable amount of silverware across his impressive career.

The 33-year-old is a four-time Serie A title winner, while he’s also scooped up three Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and one La Liga title with Barcelona.

In addition to that, the man who recently joined Inter Milan for just £900,000 has won the Copa America, as well as the DFB-Pokal in Germany and the Coppa Italia in Italy.

It is interesting to see a player of such pedigree wish Rodriguez and Mina well, although his contact with the ex-Real Madrid star makes more sense.

Vidal and Rodriguez shared a dressing room while together at Bayern Munich, where they were both coincidentally managed by Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti.

The duo know each other well from their time at the Allianz Arena, and are clearly still on good terms judging by Vidal’s Instagram message.

The Goodison Park faithful will be hoping that the Chilean’s good luck message will transpire into their fixture this weekend, as Everton take on Liverpool.

If Ancelotti’s men can get the three points, they’ll extend their lead at the top of the Premier League.
