Wolverhampton Wanderers will be pretty disappointed with how they played in Sunday’s defeat at Tottenham Hotspur.

Nuno’s men just never really looked comfortable, having just 38% of possession and three shots on target.

A 2-0 defeat was pretty much deserved for Wolves, and their underwhelming season looks set to meet a suitable end.

Few players really came out with much credit, but striker Fabio Silva really didn’t impress Gary Neville in North London.

Silva, snapped up for a huge £35million deal from Porto last summer, has possibly played more football than first planned due to Raul Jimenez’s injury.

The Portuguese striker has managed four goals and two assists in 30 Premier League games this season, which isn’t exactly a bad return from the 18-year-old.

However, Neville really wasn’t impressed, telling Sky Sports after 60 minutes of Sunday’s game that the striker looked ‘like he had his toys taken off him’.

Neville feels that Silva never looks happy, but then went even further by claiming that there is no energy or urgency to his game, suggesting that everything appears to be a struggle for him.

“I just think Fabio Silva, he’s almost… he never really looks happy, he looks like he’s had his toys taken off him all the time,” said Neville. “No real energy or urgency in his game, everything looks a struggle for him,” he added.

Silva is considered to be a hot prospect for the future, but it’s clear that he will have to change his demeanour if he is to impress Neville any time soon.
