Ian Wright loved Luke Ayling’s Robbie Keane-inspired celebration during Leeds United’s 4-2 win over Wolves on Saturday and how ‘everything was terrible’, as he told Premier League Productions (20/03/23 at 2:30 pm).
It was a sense of Deja vu for the Leeds defender because, for the second season running, he was scoring against Wolves at Molineux and what’s crazier is that they both happened on March 18th.
On both occasions, when Ayling scored, he would celebrate by attempting a cartwheel, seemingly in homage to Robbie Keane, but of course, in typical Ayling fashion, there is comedic value involved.

After the international break, Leeds fans will want to see more of that action from Ayling because it would mean that the £20k-a-week star (Spotrac) is putting the ball into the back of the net a few more times.
That was a massive win for Javi Gracia’s side against their relegation rivals and it also pushes them out of danger.
Well, Arsenal legend and former Premier League striker Ian Wright celebrated a fair few times during his career and this is what he had to say about Ayling.
“Unbelievable,” said Wright about Ayling’s record against Wolves. “I remember watching Luke Ayling. I love watching celebrations where you can actually see him thinking about what he’s going to do.
“His roll was terrible. Everything was terrible. He knows exactly what he is doing. It was a really nice moment.”

WILL LEEDS SURVIVE?
When Jesse Marsch was booted out, the club, or those in the Elland Road boardroom, made a mess of the situation.
From signing someone like Weston McKennie, specifically for Marsch, before sacking him before the USA midfielder could start a game, was baffling.
And then taking an age to bring in a new face, Leeds are now in a positive place, it’s just a case of carrying that on after the international break.
