Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly miss out on the signing of Manchester City central defender Aymeric Laporte.
Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The Mirror reported this week that Arsenal are looking at signing Laporte if Brazilian defender Gabriel leaves for Saudi Arabia.
Earlier this month. The Mirror claimed interest from Arsenal, Tottenham as well as Aston Villa in the 29-year-old Spain international centre-back.
And we are not surprised that the Gunners, Spurs and the Villans are keen on Laporte.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to miss out on Aymeric Laporte
Although the Spaniard has fallen down the pecking order at City, he is still a very good defender who is at the top of his game at the moment at the age of 29.
The Spain international knows the Premier League inside out and has extensive experienc playing in the UEFA Champions League.

We have no doubt that Laporte would make Arsenal or Tottenham better at the back.
However, the seems that the defender is on his way to Saudi Arabia.
Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has reported on Twitter that Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr have sealed a deal to sign Laporte.
We are a bit surprised that the defender is leaving for Saudi Arabia.
True, the salary on the offer will be huge, but Laporte is still a very good player who can be a huge success for a major club in Europe, including Arsenal or Spurs.
City, though, will be pleased with the transfer business.
After all, the Premier League champions are not going to worry about Laporte doing well at Arsenal or Spurs and proving them wrong in selling him.
