Danny Mills has praised Leeds United on talkSPORT (2:18pm, May 8, 2021) for managing to play well without their fans, pointing out how many moan about Liverpool struggling without a packed Anfield.
The former Leeds right-back, who now works as a pundit for talkSPORT, has said that Leeds have managed to do just fine without their fans at Elland Road.
Mills said on talkSPORT (2:18pm, May 8, 2021): “Everyone talks about Liverpool have struggled because they have had no fans, everyone talks about Sheffield United have struggled because they have had no fans, this is one of the most raucous atmospheres on the planet, and Leeds they have managed pretty well without their fans.”
All teams in the Premier League have been affected by lack of fans inside stadiums.
Sheffield United have actually been relegated to the Championship, while Liverpool, who won the Premier League title last season, may not even end up in the Champions League places this time around.
There is no doubt that teams facing Liverpool at Anfield are not as intimidated as they would have been had fans been there.

One could say the same about Leeds. Elland Road would have been electric this season, their first in the Premier League since 2004.
The Leeds players have accepted that and have gone on about their business without complaining.
As you can see in the following Tweet, the results of Leeds against the ‘Big Six’ clubs at Elland Road this season are simply remarkable.
If there were fans, perhaps they could have been even better.
