Charles Watts has said on his own Youtube channel that everyone he has spoken to feels that Arsenal will find that transfer market very difficult this summer.
Arsenal and Mikel Arteta are thought to be wanting to make major changes to their squad.
However, doing so could be easier said than done, after the global pandemic.
Football’s finances, like so many other industries, have been hit – and Arsenal are set to make substantial losses over the past year.
Watts has now got in contact with multiple different sources, to speak ahead about Arsenal’s transfer plans.
And he suggested that the Gunners certainly won’t find things easy when it comes to recruitment for next season.
“It’ll be difficult, very difficult,” he said. “Everyone I’ve spoken to, agents everyone, thinks it’s going to be very, very difficult.
“Arsenal are on course to lose well over £100 million last season, so the transfer market is going to be very difficult this summer, everyone is expecting that.”
Watts’ words surely plunge Arsenal’s ability to spend lavish sums into doubt.

That could mean that financing deals for the likes of Martin Odegaard could be difficult, unless sales are made.
Arteta and Edu already seem to be planning for next season, with plenty of transfer links already emerging.
But it seems it could be a question of one in, one out at the Emirates Stadium over the coming months.
