Ian Wright has claimed that ‘everyone’ has got ‘high hopes’ for what Bukayo Saka is capable of producing at Arsenal, as he told ITV Sport.
The Highbury legend also heaped praise on Arsenal’s academy and how you have to ‘give credit’ to Hale-End for the work they have done.
At only 20-years-old, Saka is one of Arsenal’s key players and one of the first names on the team sheet at the Emirates.
Not only that, but he is also an England international and it’s scary to think where his career can head during these coming years.
If Arsenal are to get back to their best, then they are going to need players like Saka staying at the club and guiding them back to the light.
And, without any surprise, Wright thinks very highly of the youngster and the roots that have helped him get to where he is now.
“What’s good about Bukayo Saka is that you have to give credit to the work that they have done at Hale-End and the academy,” said Wright.
“They have made him. The player that he is and being able to deal with that disappointment. Getting to the first steam. Staying with the first team. Continuing to produce the performances.
“We are talking about someone with 110 appearances for Arsenal now. He’s just coming to the age of 20.
“So, we are talking about a player that knows how to deal with this. Long may it continue. Everyone has got high hopes at what he is capable of doing.”

Both Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have helped save a lot of millions for Arsenal because that’s two areas of the pitch they don’t need to worry about in the long run.
Like Trent Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool, he has saved his boyhood club a lot of money and that worry of having to splash the money in the transfer market.
Liverpool have battled Manchester City for the Premier League title over the years, and whilst they have spent hundreds of millions on fullbacks, both Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson have cost next to nothing.
