Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Jurgen Klopp has been speaking about Leeds United’s fanbase ahead of his first trip to a packed-out Elland Road.
Klopp has been in England for six years now, but Sunday will be his first-ever game in front of the Leeds supporters after playing in empty stadia for the majority of the past two seasons.
United supporters are notoriously amongst the loudest and most passionate in the country, and Klopp can’t wait to soak in the atmosphere at Elland Road.

Klopp shared what he’s heard about the Leeds fanbase.
“Everybody tells me that the atmosphere will be absolutely outstanding, so I am looking forward to it. So it’s good. We have some people who can tell us how it will be with Millie and Jack Robinson as well so that’s good, but the game itself will be tricky, we saw that in the last games we played against them,” Klopp said.
Difference makers
Klopp knows just how important the crowd can be in any game. After all, he’s experienced many of those European nights at Anfield, but a big game at Elland Road is a different story.
If ever a stadium could be described as a cauldron this is it. The Leeds supporters can be deafening at times, and if they get behind the team on Sunday they could spur them onto a shock result.
It will be hard for Leeds to get the better of Liverpool, but if the fans in the stands act as the 12th man, they could make the difference.
