Speaking to BT Sport, Jordan Henderson has been speaking about Divock Origi and his finishing ability in training.
The Belgian may have only scored five goals in all competitions this season, but Henderson claims that he’s absolutely deadly in front of goal in training.
The Liverpool skipper was reviewing Origi’s goal against Tottenham in the Champions League final, and he claimed that such a finish was standard for the striker.

Henderson was full of praise for Origi’s finishing ability.
“This is some finish you know, on his left foot,” Rio Ferdinand said while watching Origi’s goal against Tottenham.
“To be fair to Div, in training, that’s standard for him, yeah, that’s standard. When he shifted it onto his left I thought there’s a chance here, because with his left and right foot he can just drill it into the bottom bin every time. To be fair to Div, his attitude, to be able to not start games and have that impact in huge games as well, not so long ago at Wolves away as well he found the winner there. He comes up with those big moments,” Henderson said.
Not surprising
It’s not surprising to hear that Origi is a dynamite finisher in training.
He may not be the Reds’ most potent striker, but if you give him a chance, he’s going to find the back of the net.
There’s a reason why he’s one of the Premier League’s greatest super-subs, he only needs one half-chance to convert, and that’s why he’s always popping up with these vital strikes.
Origi may not score as many goals as Mohamed Salah, but he’s still one of Liverpool’s greatest finishers.
