Peter Crouch has named Spurs star Harry Kane as the player he would trust to take a shot from 25 yards to save his life above any other player in the world.

The former Tottenham striker was full of praise for Kane during his Q&A column in the Daily Mail.

Understandably, fans were keen to find out Crouch’s view on Kane in the same week he hit his 200th Spurs goal.

One supporter asked whether or not Kane will catch Alan Shearer in the all-time top Premier League scorers list, to which Crouch replied:

“The numbers are staggering. He’s got 201 for Tottenham now and he could end up with 300 for the club before he finishes. He’s a certainty to join Alan Shearer and Wayne Rooney in the 200 club for the Premier League but beating Shearer’s total of 260 will be a tall order.

“Kane is not only Tottenham’s best scorer, he’s also their best creator. He’s like two men rolled into one. The best compliment I can pay him is that if you wanted someone to take a shot to score from 25 yards to save your life, I’d pick Kane every single day.”

Crouch is clearly a big fan of Kane.

To say that he’d trust him with a shot from 25 yards to save his life is big praise, and to be fair he’s a great choice.

Kane isn’t only a sharp finisher, he is brilliant under pressure and he has impeccable technique when striking a ball.

The fact that he has such an amazing goalscoring record and such a brilliant passing range shows that he just knows how to hit a ball, and that’s what you want from a long-range shooter.
