With the January transfer deadline coming to a close, Arsenal’s spell into the market saw plenty of talk surrounding potential incomings and outgoings.

The Gunners have been amongst the fight for the Premier League title, though many thought reinforcements would be needed to get that charge over the line. The north London outfit were restricted in the market though, down to their FFP position.

Manager Mikel Arteta reinforced this claim when he discussed the window, but remained on the lookout for opportunities. A striker was heavily discussed as Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney were rumoured with a switch.

Any chance of an incoming would only be improved with the possibility of a permanent exit elsewhere. The likes of Emile Smith Rowe, Thomas Partey, Eddie Nketiah and Cedric Soares were all linked with possible moves away.
