Signing Richarlison could and should make West Ham United ask about Everton’s Yannick Bolasie.

If rumours are to be believed, Everton are in the running for Watford winger Richarlison this summer.

According to Sky Sports, Everton are one of several Premier League teams hunting the Brazilian star after a high-profile first season in English football, with Richarlison valued at £40 million.

Signing him might render a certain Yannick Bolasie as surplus to requirements at Goodison Park and West Ham United should be interested in signing the 28-year-old.

Bolasie joined the Toffees in a £29 million deal in the summer of 2016, but The Mirror reported that West Ham were also interested in bringing him to London, prior to his Merseyside move.

And a successful move for Richarlison might just free up Bolasie and West Ham boss David Moyes would be remiss if he wasn’t interested, even if Slaven Bilic was in charge of the Irons at the time of their initial link two years ago.

He offered a reminder of his talents by scoring in the 3-1 defeat by Manchester City on the Easter weekend – his first and only goal since returning from a year-long absence in December.

Nevertheless, there will be plenty of clubs interested if Everton indicate that he is available, but West Ham should lead the way.
