Everton winger Yannick Bolasie was teammates with Tammy Abraham during the first-half of last season.

Everton winger Yannick Bolasie took to Twitter during Chelsea’s clash with Norwich City to express his delight for Tammy Abraham after the striker bagged his first goal for the Blues on Saturday.
Abraham went into the game at Carrow Road still awaiting his first goal for Chelsea having spent the large majority of his career to date out on loan. The club’s transfer ban has helped him earn the chance to establish himself as Frank Lampard’s first-choice striker, but he may have been feeling the pressure.
The striker had not scored in either of Chelsea’s opening two league games. But the drought did not last too much longer as he broke the deadlock inside three minutes at Carrow Road with a superb finish.
Abraham produced a brilliant half-volley to find the bottom corner in what proved to be a terrific game against the newly-promoted Canaries.

And one Premier League player who was pleased to see the forward get his goal was Bolasie, with the Everton wide-man taking to social media to praise the youngster. The pair both joined Aston Villa on loan last summer, and played together for the first-half of the season before Bolasie’s loan came to an end and he joined Anderlecht for the rest of the campaign.
Here is Bolasie’s message to Abraham…
Abraham would go on to score the winning goal during the second-half as the Blues picked up their first win under their new boss. It would have been a big boost to the striker’s confidence as he looks to prove that he can take his form from the Championship to the highest level.

Unlike Bolasie, he was an outstanding signing for Villa. But he still had a point to prove having previously struggled in the top flight when he was sent to Swansea.
But Abraham has unquestionably now silenced a lot of his critics.
