Everton are said to be keen on signing Valencia striker Rodrigo in the summer.

Everton brought in Sandro last summer, after he impressed in La Liga, but he has failed to make any sort of impression at Goodison Park.
The Spain under-21 international scored just one goal for the Toffees, before being moved out on loan to Sevilla in the January transfer window.

While it is still too soon to entirely write Sandro off, it is beginning to become difficult to see how he will make a success out of his time at Everton.
And Everton need to avoid making a similar mistake again in the summer.
Rodrigo may be more experienced than Sandro, but his past experience of English football hardly offers encouragement.

Rodrigo scored just one goal in 17 appearances for Bolton as a youngster, and while he has developed since, it would be wise for the Toffees to operate with caution.
As a result, unless Everton can get hold of the striker for a bargain price, they should look elsewhere – as there may be better option for Sam Allardyce’s side on the market.
