Everton are refusing to give in to to interest in their midfielder Idrissa Gueye.

According to Bleacher Report, Everton are refusing to sell Idrissa Gueye at any price this summer – and that is exactly the right stance for Ronald Koeman’s side to take.
Everton have had tentative interest from Arsenal and Manchester United in Gueye.

However, the Toffees are determined to keep hold of the Senegalese international and will refuse to sell him, regardless of what they are offered.
And while Everton, in the past, may have been tempted to make a swift profit on a player they only signed last year, this shows a big change in policy from Koeman’s side.

Everton may be struggling to keep hold of Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley, but their refusal to sell Gueye does send out a message that things are changing at Goodison Park.
And Koeman is doing exactly the right thing by planning to build his team around Gueye, as Everton look to break into the top four in the coming years.
