Seamus Coleman has told the Independent that he wants Everton to sign both Andre Gomes and Kurt Zouma in the summer.

Everton have brought in both Gomes and Zouma on loan, from Barcelona and Chelsea respectively, and the pair have enjoyed an excellent first season at Goodison Park.

Gomes has been one of Everton’s most integral players this season, and Zouma has also forced his way into Everton’s first choice defensive pairing.

And Coleman has suggested that Farhad Moshiri and Marco Silva should be making plans to sign the pair in the summer.

“It’s the owner and the manager’s decision but it would be great to hold on to the players we’ve got on loan,” the right-back said.

“They’ve been great and their performances at certain points have been brilliant. If we were able to keep them that would be fantastic.”

Both Gomes and Zouma were in excellent form during Everton’s last match against West Ham United.

Zouma scored Everton’s opening goal in the contest, while Gomes dominated the match from midfield.

Everton picked up a 2-0 victory against West Ham on Saturday, as they put in arguably their best performance of the season.

The Toffees are now up to ninth and are starting to show the quality that they posses in their squad, after a difficult spell of form in the middle of the season.
