Everton-owned Sandro Ramirez has vowed to rediscover his best form after a ‘bad year’ for him.

The 23-year-old has just left Everton to join Real Valladolid on a season-long loan.

Sandro, a striker, joined Real Sociedad on loan for the 2018-19 campaign last summer, but failed to score a single goal from 25 appearances on his return to La Liga.

It was a dreadful return but, as quoted by The Echo, the former Malaga attacker, who moved to Goodison in 2017, is ready to get on with things.

“Since the negotiations began they bet for me and that has been key. I come from a bad year personally. I know that the player that I am, I have not scored a goal for some time, but with work and humility I will be the same again.”

He might’ve only cost some £5 million, but the former Barcelona ace has been a horrendous signing by Everton.

Despite a relatively low transfer fee, he is earning over £100,000 per week on Merseyside [Silly Season], which explains the repeated loans away.

The Toffees are finding it tough to find a buyer for a hit-and-miss player on big money and, really, the buck falls with Steve Walsh here, the club’s former Director of Football.

He was pulling the strings on transfer-related matters at the time of Sandro’s acquisition and, in hindsight, it looks really poor signing.
