The Everton defender and Tottenham Hotspur winger are teammates for Argentina.
Everton’s Ramiro Funes Mori was filmed hanging out with Tottenham Hotspur’s Erik Lamela on Monday.
Footage of the pair preparing a barbecue – which appears to be shot in London – was uploaded to Funes Mori’s Instagram on Monday.
The Argentina colleagues came through the ranks together at River Plate, but split when Lamela moved to Roma seven years ago.
The winger switched to Tottenham in 2013 – two years before Funes Mori followed him to English football with Everton.
Both players recently endured lengthy spells on the sidelines, however unlike Lamela, Funes Mori has yet to reappear for Everton’s first team.
The 27-year-old stepped up his recovery with the Toffees’ Under-23s last week, and could get his chance in the coming two games with Ashley Williams still suspended.
Lamela has scored or created six goals since his return to the Tottenham team in November 2017.
