Everton and Arsenal have both been linked with a move for the German.
Bayer Leverkusen winger Karim Bellarabi would be an excellent signing for whichever club wins the race to obtain his signature this summer.
According to Goal Germany, the 27-year-old is attracting interest from both the Gunners and the Toffees, but the 11-capped Germany international would be much more useful to Everton than he would Arsenal.
Arsene Wenger has a plethora of talented attacking wide players at his disposal at the Emirates, and it is doubtful that Bellarabi would receive regular game-time with the north London outfit.

Ronald Koeman, on the other hand, is desperately looking to bolster his options on the wing, what with Kevin Mirallas fast approaching 30, Yannick Bolasie still in the rehabilitation stage of his return form injury and Aaron Lennon’s well-documented personal problems.
The addition of a player such as the German would add a much needed level of pace and guile to the Blues’ attacking play, and his arrival at Goodison Park could make all the difference next term.
The talented winger has pace in abundance, and is one of the most skilful attacking players on the continent, and his trickery, combined with his potent deliveries into the box would surely help improve upon Everton’s potency in the final third.
Bellarabi is under contract with the Bundesliga club until the summer of 2021, however, so he will still command a fairly heft fee – £26 million to be precise, according to German media outlet Bild.
The Toffees are hardly short of cash though, despite already having spent heavily this summer, and would surely be able to meet that kind of fee, which must be considered as somewhat of a bargain in today’s day and age.
