The Everton midfielder has flattered to deceive this season and the matches are not getting any easier.

Despite featuring in all but one of Everton’s Premier League games this season, Morgan Schneiderlin has done little to justify his place, and this month could be vital as the Toffees midfielder attempts to prove his doubters wrong.
Everton need their senior players to lead by example and Schneiderlin has some tough challenges ahead to win the midfield battles against both Arsenal in the league and Chelsea in the EFL Cup.

In short, the matches are not getting any easier for an Everton side sitting just above the relegation zone, and if Schneiderlin wants to keep his place in the starting line-up, he needs to prove his worth on the other side of the international break.
First up for the Tofffees is a match against Brighton and Hove Albion, and as well as the Seagulls have done so far this season, this is an encounter Everton will know they should be winning.
If they come unstuck, it could be the end for their manager Ronald Koeman, but whatever the future has in store for the Dutchman, the players will still need to get the club out of their current predicament.

Schneiderlin should be bossing the game against the Seagulls, and if he does so it will give him confidence for the back-to-back clashes against Arsenal and Chelsea.
Those games are often won in the centre of the park and Everton need their French midfielder at the top of his game; something he has not shown for quite some time.
