The in-form Everton defender claims he’s nowhere near done developing.

Michael Keane has told Everton’s official website that he can get so much better.
The England international is at the beginning of his third season on Merseyside following a £30 million switch from Burnley in 2017 [BBC Sport].
The Toffees centre-back was brilliant for Everton last term following a mixed first year at Goodison Park in the 2017-18 campaign.
But since Marco Silva has taken the reins on Merseyside, it’s done wonders for Keane – and he says that he can get even better.
He told Everton’s official website: “It is important people aren’t thinking it [last year] was a one-season wonder. I am reaching the age where I will be in my prime in the next two or three years.
“I am only going to keep getting better, I think. The manager played a huge part [in Keane’s upturn] when he came in.
“But the biggest thing was myself, mentally, wanting to prove people wrong and show them how good I could be.”
It’s taken a while, but Keane does indeed look like a £30 million defender these days – and he has to.
Everton failed to re-sign Kurt Zouma, meaning that Silva doesn’t have an abundance of quality centre-back options, with Yerry Mina enduring an up-and-down season last time around.
But Keane has looked an assured presence alongside the Colombian defender this season and the two of them look like they could forge a very successful partnership.
