Everton’s Mason Holgate is set to start for Marco Silva’s side again at the weekend.

Mason Holgate needs a big performance for Everton at the weekend, when Marco Silva’s side take on West Ham United.
Holgate has played regularly for Everton this term, since Phil Jagielka’s red card on opening day.
The youngster has largely impressed with his performances for the Toffees, but he is still under more pressure than most to catch the eye against West Ham.
Silva should have a big increase in defensive options for Everton’s match after West Ham, but his current choices are very limited.

Everton are without Yerry Mina, Seamus Coleman and Jagielka for Saturday’s game.
It means that Holgate, who is on a £25,000-a-week contract (Daily Star), almost certainly has to be picked, which gives the England youth international a chance to nail down his starting place.
And if Holgate can impress again then he may have a chance of keeping his spot in Everton’s team, even when all of Silva’s options return.
