Linked away
Interestingly, Gueye has been linked with a move away from Everton in the January transfer window.
According to The Liverpool Echo, French and European giants Paris Saint-Germain are interested in securing the services of the 29-year-old defensive midfielder this month.
Gueye has been on the books of Everton since the summer of 2016 when he joined from Aston Villa for a transfer fee reported by The Guardian to be worth £7.1 million.
While Everton are aiming to break into the top six of the Premier League table this season, Cardiff are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship.
