Will Henry Onyekuru ever play a Premier League game for Everton? He is currently on loan in Turkey with Super Lig champions Galatasaray.

Everton loanee Henry Onyekuru admits he is loving life at Galatasaray and would be happy to stay at the Turkish Super Lig champions on a permanent basis.
Everton beat off competition from clubs all over Europe to seal the signing of highly-rated Nigerian striker Onyekuru in the summer of 2017, paying £7 million after he scored 24 goals for Belgian outfit KAS Eupen (BBC).
The 21-year-old is yet to make his debut for The Toffees however due to work permit issues, meaning he is currently on loan at Galatasaray having spent the 2017/18 campaign back in Belgium with Anderlecht.
And, speaking to Kralspor, Onyekuru cast doubt on whether he would ever play a game for Everton – though he wouldn’t be too displeased about a long-term stay in Istanbul.
“I am very happy here. I love Galatasaray,” said Onyekuru, who wears his first name on the back of his shirt in homage to his hero, the former Arsenal captain Thierry Henry.

“My dream is to play in the Premier League, but I am having some problems with a work permit. No matter what the transfer is, a loan or a cheque. If Everton and Galatasaray agree, I will stay.”
Such comments will no doubt frustrate Toffees fans, who have seen their side toil in front of goal since Romelu Lukaku left for Manchester United in 2017.
Onyekuru has scored nine goals in all competitions for Galatasaray this season, including a hat-trick in Janaury’s 6-0 thrashing of Ankaragucu.
