The Everton man has been linked with move to Barcelona.
Everton attacker Gerard Deulofeu has told The Mail that he is confident everything will work out okay amid speculation linking him with Barcelona.
The Spanish playmaker impressed during a loan spell to AC Milan in the second half of last season.
He grabbed four goals and set up three in 17 Serie A appearances for the Italian giants in a run of form which has potentially alerted Barcelona (The Express).
The 23-year-old joined the Toffees in a permanent deal from Barca in 2015, after previously impressing on loan at Goodison Park.
It has not always been easy for him at Everton, but the youngster admits he is enjoying life on and off the field at the moment and says that a decision over his future will be linked to what his best for his international prospects with Spain.
“Maybe sometimes I’ve thought too much in the future. I’m living a very good moment in football and in the personal field, I’m calm,” he told The Mail.
“I have to think about the national team right now and then I have to choose the best option.
“It will be a busy summer in my case but I’m calm and everything will work out for sure.
“I’m going through a good football and personal moment. Let me enjoy it, my future will be decided.”
Deulofeu is obviously a fine talent and Everton boss Ronald Koeman should do everything he can to ensure the Toffees benefit from this next term.
His mind might already be made up, but the Dutch manager ought to convince him that Merseyside is the best place for him, which won’t be overly hard when you consider the abundance of talent at Barcelona.
