Everton boss Marco Silva is said to want to bring Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Goodison Park this summer.

Chelsea’s signing of Jorginho for a reported £57 million from Napoli (Sky Sports) could aid Everton in their chase of Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Loftus-Cheek has already gone on record to suggest that he wants first-team football next season, and Jorginho’s arrival places another obstacle in his way.

Chelsea are also expected to sign Aleksandar Golovin in the near future, and that could play right into Everton’s hands.

The Liverpool Echo have reported how Everton are keen to snap up Loftus-Cheek, who has shown a great deal of promise over the past season.

Loftus-Cheek was in fine form for Crystal Palace on a loan spell at Selhurst Park last term, and he also impressed at the World Cup with England.

With Everton keen to improve their creative options, Loftus-Cheek has reportedly emerged on their radar.

And with Loftus-Cheek’s chances of breaking into Chelsea’s first-team taking a hit from Maurizio Sarri’s transfer dealings, Everton should be starting to feel confident of getting a deal over the line.
