Everton fans on Twitter are congratulating young academy gem Anthony Gordon.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed a fine season with Everton’s Under-23s, helping them to the double.

Gordon reflected on the season’s glory by posting a photo on Twitter earlier this week.

And here’s how Toffees fans have responded to the starlet.

Gordon might be the next best thing coming out of the club’s Finch Farm academy.

He signed a new long-term contract earlier this year as Everton moved to secure his future – and for good reason.

Back in November, Bayern Munich and Arsenal were rumoured to be fans of the teenage midfielder [The Daily Mail].

The next step for Gordon is to make another senior appearance for Everton. He has already made his debut, which came in a Europa League win under Sam Allardyce back in 2017, but chances have been few and far between since then.
