Everton’s Ademola Lookman celebrates
Everton-owned Ademola Lookman has told Sportbuzzer in Germany that he wants to succeed in the Bundesliga – and didn’t exactly rule out a permanent move to RB Leipzig.
The Toffees landed Lookman in an £11million deal from Charlton Athletic back in January 2017 (BBC Sport), securing the services of one of the top young talents in English football.
Lookman made a bright start to his Everton career with a debut goal against Manchester City, but struggled for first-team action this season, despite fans calling for him to be used more regularly.

The forward started just one Premier League game this season and failed to really make an impression under Sam Allardyce, and he decided to make a loan move on deadline day last week.
Despite Everton’s desire for him to stay in England, Lookman decided it was time to test his talents abroad, joining Bundesliga side RB Leipzig on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old enjoyed a dream debut against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, as he came off the bench as a substitute to score the winning goal in a 1-0 victory for Leipzig.

Now, Lookman has spoken to Sportbuzzer in Germany about his move, and refused to rule out the possibility of joining Leipzig permanent in a shock move, given Everton’s future plans for him.
Lookman first wants to just have fun in Germany and help Leipzig, but he did note that nobody knows what will happen in the coming months, meaning a move is entirely possible in his mind.
“Let me get here first and play football,” said Lookman. “I want to succeed in the Bundesliga, have fun, help the team and the club. No one knows what’s going on in five months,” he added.
